The Army Look - So hot right now.

My former headshot client Dave Hsin, who I photographed in NYC several years ago when I was just starting out, has made the move to Los Angeles.

He came to me today needing updated headshots. One of the shots his agents suggested he get was a army-type shot in camouflage gear or an army jacket or something because those kinds of roles are really popular right now.

So we shot an army look.



It wasn't so simple though.

See, the problem was that he didn't bring an army jacket or camo-gear.

So...we improvised...with shorts!

Danny Smith - Hand Modeling Headshots

Danny Smith's agency (I think it's either Click Models or Vision Models) decided that they wanted us to go out and shoot some shots so that he could pursue additional work as a "parts model", specifically a hand model.

They told us to just be creative. Use props. Whatever.

Here's what we came up with:

Kristina Klebe Headshots

Kristina, has carved out a little niche for herself, starring as an ass-kicking chick in several horror/zombie thrillers such as Zone of the Dead...



And Escape of the Living Dead...



But she's probably best known for her lead role as the sexy young heroine (I'm actually not sure if she dies or not) in 2007's remake of Halloween...




And just this past month she was featured on the April issue of Serbian Maxim...

Anyway, she recently cut her hair real short. And came to me for some new pictures.



I think the cut gives her a really cool and edgy action star vibe.

Which is awesome because she goes out for a recurring role on next season's 24 tomorrow!

Something tells me she just might get it.

I think she'll get it.

She has to get it.

Today I photographed another client of White Swan Management, Jennifer Kingsley.

She was really fun to work with. Had a very clear idea of the looks she wanted.
